    * Location: about 200 m from the metro station Nishishinjuku on the Marunouchiline. A 10-minute walk from Shinjuku Station. Very close to the entertainment district of Shinjuku! And yet quiet located. * Breakfast: choice of Western breakfast (700 yen, approximately €7) or Japanese buffet (1,080 yen, approximately €10.80). Tried only the Japanese buffet. Choice was ok. * On the 7th floor washing machines and tumble dryers for a fee (very reasonable price).

    * The musty smell on the 7th floor! The hotel is in the process of renovating the exterior. Hopefully, the renovation of the inside is foreseen as well!

    Fabulous

Very clean hotel with spotless rooms. Fastest Internet I've ever used in a hotel, very good location with very easy access to convienience stores and transport. Pleasant part of shinjuku, with really easy walk to stations. Great bathroom & bed, above standard for this price range.

Strict criteria for check in/ check out, too strict maybe.

    Superb

This hotel is located in very convenient location - just approximately 10 minutes walking distance from the downtown. For some reason my macbook's internet (wire) connection did not work one day in the hotel room - so hotel reception offered me another room or rent laptop, very nice service! There's also 7eleven shop just next to the the hotel, so in case you are running out of cash - you can get more cash from the 7eleven automat, with visa, master or american express card. In case you do not want to walk to the Shinjuku station where is a lot of shops, you can take subway, NISHI-SHINJUKU station is just about 200 meters on the right side of this hotel.

    Fabulous

Very convenient location, close to Shinjuku shopping district, restaurants and Shinjuku Train and Bus Stations.

    Very good

The room smelt like cigarette even though it was non smoking.

    Exceptional

Excellent central location only 5 -8mins walk from Shinjuku station so it was perfect for my later arrival into Tokyo by train. Very cheap at 8,500 yen excluding breakfast. (I paid 12,300 yen for a lot less value at a larger hotel nearby). the rooms are smallish but not tiny and all i needed. It is very modern, clean and newish and its a smaller hotel with all amenities and more personal and friendly without the big crowds at checkin and checkout and associated lift delays like another tokyo hotel i stayed at.. The rooms are smallish but not tiny. I particularly like the vending machines on multiple floors to get a quick beer as well as coin laundries on various floors. For women travelling on their own the ladies-only floor (14) with its own laundry is a nice option and there was no cigarette smoke aroma on that floor.

    Good

    It is close to stations.

Cannot assess internet both in room and lobby! Maybe due to the type of my smartphone.

    Very good

The location is perfect, just 100m from the underground exit and 5 minutes walking to Shinjuku station. There's a Kinko's shop just round the corner, in case you need to print out documents, business cards, etc (which was my case). The room is not huge but it has everything you need, including complimentary green tea and also shampoo, conditioner and body soap on the shower. Cable internet in the room or wi-fi in the reception area, plus a few computers that customers can use for free.

On the negative side, I had no views at all from my window, just next building's wall (bad luck!). Also, the small cafe where they serve breakfast would be much better if they did not have a smoking area at all, but of course in Japan most places have smoking and non-smoking areas, so I guess it is a cultural aspect.

    Good

Close to Metro and Shinjuku train station and 24h stores. Daily housekeeping.

Other than the hotel fee, you need cash payment for every service. Windows are covered and only a port opens, so it's like being in a windowless room.

    Exceptional

The rooms are bigger than the standard Japanese hotel room size for a very reasonable price (great size to money ration). It is quite close to Shinjuku station.

    Very good

5 mins walk to the metro station...close to everything...comfortable tub

the room is rather small, merely room for 2 beds and a large suitcase-- I guess that's the typical Japanese hotel problem

    Superb

The location is really great though from far if you don't know the Kanji for Nishitetsu Inn (西鉄 イン) you wouldn't see it. But except with very big hotels which have a big sign in Kanji and latin letters it will happen for most of hotels you ll be looking for in Japan:/ ... The room was not big but for one person that was perfect and the price was very competitive compare to most of hotel in the same area :/ it was clean very practical .... The only important thing you have to know that caused me a big deception and a lof of stress is about the wifi at the Beginning!! Most of Japanese hotels, bars or coffe shop don't offer a free access to Wifi .... nowhere... Most of rooms have a lane cable but no wifi ... So what you have to do is to buy a Wifi Router that will cost about 30 € you plug the Lan cable wich is is in your in it and there you go ... You can use your iPad, iPhone or any smartphone ... And One more tip ... To communicate with yours Friends by sms use the Whatsapp aplication ... So you are Not Charged on your phone Bill ... It goes Free through Internet :)

No Wifi :/ and the people of the reception won't give you any solution ... It is a French guys who often goes to Japan who told me about the Wifi Router Solution ... I was really upset at the beginning with this problem .... Considering that in europe you have access to free wifi every where ...
